Platelet Rich Plasma

Tissue Regeneration Therapy – Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Tissue Regeneration Therapy is an aesthetic treatment that uses the healing potential of the patients own blood to bio-stimulate skin cells. The treatment uses the richness of growth factors contained in the plasma and the process of stem cell stimulation to regenerate and revitalise aged and damaged skin.

How is PRP used?

The Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), is obtained from the patient’s own blood in special tubes and is centrifuged for 5 to 10 minutes, separating the plasma from the red blood cells. The plasma is then extracted and injected into the dermis, which supports and accelerates the process of tissue regeneration and reconstruction by:

  • Stimulation of angiogenesis, the formation of new blood vessels
  • Stimulation of new collagen production
  • Induction of mesenchymal stem cell division and differentiation

Tissue Regeneration Therapy is designed for clients with:

  • The desire to choose a natural treatment
  • Signs of skin ageing
  • Tired and dry skin, lack skin tension, uneven pigmentation
  • An increased risk of allergic reactions
  • Alopecia
