What is Liposculpture?

Liposculpture is a major refinement of the technique Liposuction. This is when unwanted fatty deposits are removed through a small incision using a canula and low pressure suction. Before suction is commenced a local anaesthetic solution is infused to numb the tissues. This solution also vastly reduces the amount of bruising after the procedure.

How is Liposuction different from losing weight?

The fat cells in our body get bigger and smaller as we gain and lose weight. When we have a problem, we have too many fat cell containers in one area eg, love handles, thighs, tummy. Diet and exercise help by making the cells smaller but they are always there. Liposuction solves the problem by removing these excess cells to give a more pleasing shape.
